Welcome to my article site. My name is Dan D'Urso. I
am a database consultant, trainer and programmer. In a
former life I worked for many years for Digital Equipment
Corporation as a software manager in the Boston area and for
a time, Europe. I also worked for Burroughs corporation in
both operating systems and compiler development. I now live
in Laguna Niguel, California, about midway between Los
Angeles and San Diego.
I own and operate Orange Coast Database Associates, Inc. in
nearby San Juan Capistrano. I also teach for the University
of Phoenix in the evenings. At one time we had to write
articles to back up the on-line portion of our classes. This
article site is an attempt to bring back some of those
articles, but to a wider audience. Hopefully, these articles
will also provide good background information for our
commercial classes.
I hope you found this article site useful. I will continue to
