Welcome to Dan D'Urso's web site for CSS/420, Computer Architecture, based on the text by A. Silberschatz and P. Galvin. CSS/420 is designed to present fundamental concepts of multi-user, multi-tasking systems. As such the emphasis is directed to operating systems used as "servers" in contemporary settings.
I hope you find this site useful. It contains an instructor biography, information from the syllabus, and a course schedule with assignments and agendas. It also contains sample midterm and final questions you can use to test your progress.
